Hello and welcome to the new Art Sensus website and blog!
Here is a little bit of history to contextualise us within the London scene…
On 22nd April 2009, Orel Art UK launched its London premises at 7 Howick Place, London SW1. An expansion from the Paris-based gallery, Orel Art UK was primarily devoted to bringing contemporary Russian art to a wider western audience. A year on, under the directorship of Julian Farrow and the gallery’s new creative team, the artistic programme has been transformed. As a reflection of this new direction, the gallery is now beginning a new phase as Art Sensus.
Art Sensus firmly believes that there are many artists from Russia and Eastern Europe who need to be promoted in London. We will therefore continue to do so, but will also represent and collaborate with key artists from the international stage. By doing so, we endeavour to showcase and preserve lasting relationships between East and West. A worthwhile cause – I am sure you agree!
From now on you can keep up to date with our journey on this mission right here on the blog. This is an interactive page so encourage you to comment on our posts and have your say.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
