Julian Farrow
Director
Julian Farrow started his career at Sotheby’s, one of the world’s leading auction houses, where he was Director of “Sotheby’s Preferred” – an initiative to assist with the development of Sotheby’s global client base and to create unique opportunities that would resonate with this exciting client base.
In the course of his career at Sotheby’s, Julian developed many strong relationships with key figures in the art world and important collectors around the world. Julian then moved into private aviation to provide one of the key industry companies with an arts based platform to attract new business. There he worked closely with key people and institutions across Russia, UK and continental Europe, such as Francois Pinault Foundation, Centre Pompidou, Outset and The State Hermitage Museum.
Julian is now the Director of Art Sensus in London where he aims to showcase the best of Russian and Eastern European art alongside other established artists from around the globe.

Becky Haghpanah-Shirwan
Gallery Manager
Becky Haghpanah-Shirwan graduated from the Courtauld Institute of Art in 2007 where her particular areas of interest were in both Soviet and Performance Art. Moving to Bristol, Becky completed a Masters of Philosophy in 2009 with the thesis entitled ‘Undressing Sots Art with Naked Revolution’. The research concentrated on the emigration anxieties of the Sots Artist, who left Moscow for New York in the 1970’s, through the paradigm of Komar and Melamid’s post-Modern opera Naked Revolution. Since then, Becky has written the biographies for Haunch of Venison’s seminal exhibition catalogue ‘Glasnost: Non-Conformist Art from the 1980’s’ as well as for Sotheby’s sale catalogues.
Moving to Art Sensus and taking on the role of Gallery Manager, Becky continues to work closely with the Courtauld Institute of Art, organising talks around contemporary Russian art.
